Intern 2026

Anjali Praba is a dedicated, forward thinking change maker attending Barnard College this fall to study in the political science/public policy field. A hard worker with a profound commitment to advocacy, Anjali spent the last two spring terms as an intern at SCIP, directly supporting clients by connecting them to vital resources tailored to their unique needs. Beyond her client-facing dedication, she has conducted rigorous research on government structures, fiscal policy, and socioeconomic issues. Anjali spent May of 2026 analyzing California’s ongoing MediCal freeze and investigating budgetary alternatives to protect healthcare access. Driven by a deep understanding of how immigrant communities strengthen Californian and American economies, she advocates for systemic solutions over healthcare cuts. Exceptionally driven and compassionate, Anjali combines thorough research with a commitment to equity, focusing her attention to analyzing policies that empower marginalized groups.
